ABSTRACT

Photomerge is Adobe’s very own stitching technology designed, initially, to blend together several overlapping images to form a panoramic photograph. In Photoshop Elements 6 and 7, the utility has received a complete overhaul and can now be used for other stitching tasks as well. The tasks are broken down into four distinct ways of using the utility –

Photomerge Group Shot, Photomerge Faces, the new Photomerge Scene Cleaner and

Photomerge Panorama. See Figure 11.1. Over the next few pages we will look at each feature

in turn.
