Everyone admits the limited extent of our domains. In size they are no more than a rifle bullet or a blemish on the skin. Notwithstanding the mere handful of territory occupied by the Empire here on the outer fringe of the Asiatic continent we Japanese are content with the decrees of providence, and not without reason.
