ABSTRACT
THE Queen of Sheba visited Suleiman and brought with her many gifts that were the trading samples of her lands. As a consequence a navy of Tharshish and a navy of Hiram, a vassal king, came to Suleiman's ports once every three years, bringing gold, silver, ivory, apes and peacocks.
