ABSTRACT

Disabilities include congenital anomalies and acquired limitations (illness or accident). People with disabilities can have the same problems as other people, but there are certain caveats that you should keep in mind.

THEORY

Paul Schilder 51 was one of the first people to point out that finding meanings was relatively contraindicated for people with congenital limitations or disabilities. His clinical discoveries led to an understanding that when people have a congenital disability or hereditary limitation, their body dysmorphia causes problems with self-esteem.

When self-esteem is an issue, people become more vulnerable to overwhelming affects and impulses. People with disabilities usually require support of their self-esteem, not confrontations that might interfere.
