ABSTRACT
The aim of this chapter is to present a synthesis of the current and projected health burdens of climate change and costing of adaptation measures to climate change with emphasis on health protection. In this section, we focus on current and projected health impacts, whereas adaptation measures, assessment methods and costs are discussed in the remaining sections of this chapter.
