ABSTRACT

Make-ups comprise various creams containing colours, and they are usually filled into bowls or jars. The technique used in lip rouges could readily give inspiration for new rouges. Anhydrous make-ups can readily be prepared from petroleum oils. They spread well, are very shiny after application, are useful for eyelashes and as a theatrical make-up. The group includes also fatty make-ups emulsified with lano-and hydrophilic petroleum jellies, as well as those based on cold cream or stearate or glycerine creams. Dry rouges, powder rouges, and compact rouge are also made.
