ABSTRACT
Separable brilliantines consist of two layers, the lower one an alcoholic or aqueous solution of alcoholic or water-soluble products, the upper one a solution of essential oil and fatty products in a hydrocarbon of the deodorised kerosene type. Into such products there is a tendency to introduce active products—e.g., castor oil soluble in hydrocarbons.
