ABSTRACT
This need not be the case. Poems are texts and are not diffi cult simply because they are poems. True some poems are diffi cult, but so are some novels, some plays, some works of non-fi ction and some fi lms. Poetry is simply a different genre and not something automatically hard because it is a poem.
