ABSTRACT

Clearly, as earlier chapters in this section have demonstrated, structural family therapy is alive and well. In its original form, as the ecosystemic variation currently practiced at Philadelphia Child Guidance, and in the evidence-based community-centered models developed from its influence, the model is widely practiced and abundantly evidence based. Structural therapy has the highest possible “highly recommended” rating from the U.S. government mental health services (https://www.samsha.gov" xmlns:xlink="https://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">www.samsha.gov).
