NGO Participation in the Global Climate Change Decision-making Process

The Preamble to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which has been ratified by 192 countries including the United States (US), ² acknowledges that “the widest possible cooperation by all countries and their participation in an effective and appropriate international response” is necessary for tackling “the global nature of climate change.”
