ABSTRACT
Over the past 15 years, mobile phone use has risen dramatically in China, and the country today has the largest mobile phone population in the world. But the PRC is now entering a new level of mobile phone use, as third-generation (3G) mobile phones offer access to high-speed Internet information. How will mobile phone Internet access shape usage patterns once the new technology becomes common?
