ABSTRACT
Travel, whether for business or pleasure, can offer people a chance to get away and experience a different culture or relax. Yiannakis and Gibson (1992) found that relaxation needs were a major motivation for traveling. However, travel also possesses risks, which range from the life threatening (e.g., political instability) to those of a minor inconvenience (e.g., travel delays).
