Internal resistance

A heating element of 2.4 resistance is connected to a battery of e.m.f. 12 V and

internal resistance 0.1 (Figure 17). Calculate

(a) the current flowing,

(b) the terminal voltage of the battery on load,

(c) the power dissipated by the heater.
