ABSTRACT

The topic of consultation with groups of consultees in the school context has not been written about extensively nor is there a strong research base for practice. Conjoint behavioral consultation does include both parents and teachers in a consultation group and focuses on parents as partners in problem definition and interventions with a child (Sheridan & Kratochwill, 2008). Instructional consultation uses teams of consultants, but the majority of the time one team consultant works with a single teacher consultee (Rosenfield, Silva, & Gravois, 2008). However, it is relatively rare to find accounts of working with multiple teachers or other school personnel as consultees.
