ABSTRACT

Section two centers on types of conflict management processes that facilitate our relationships in legal contexts. Scholars of our legal system have been fascinated with jury decision making, how to address sexual harassment, and use of neutral third parties in disputes involving victim–offender, environmental and divorce settlements. Three of the five meta-analyses in section two examine the process of mediation or using a third party as the process facilitator.
