ABSTRACT
The data evaluated here come from two main sources: the Who’s Whos published by the West Bengal Legislative Assembly (WBLA), presenting the biodata of MLAs; and interviews focusing on the identification of the caste/community of MLAs, since this information is not available in the Who’s Whos. But these data are limited both in their availability and reliability.
