Transferring and Re-transferring Religious Practice

In this essay, I deal with the history of cultural transfer processes connected to the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), mainly with the transfer of so-called Kṛṣṇa-conscious practice to the West, and back to India from there. In short, I deal with the transfer of religious practice (see Neubert 2006) in the history of ISKCON.
