ABSTRACT
Folklore has many tales in which the hero goes in search of some precious thing – a holy grail, a magic talisman – and eventually, thanks to his many virtues, acquires the sought-for treasure but only after rejecting it, unrecogized, several times. In the final dénouement, he is shown that what he wanted so badly he had already had within reach.
