ABSTRACT
This case study describes the process of designing an equitable bioprospecting agreement and developing community-based activities that included the University of the South Pacific (USP, headquartered in Fiji), pharmaceutical companies, the Fiji government, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and local communities.
