Still, I feel an obligation to record what happened for the sake of what the French call témoignage-testimony, speaking out. I know that as the years go by, I will forget. And I am also worried that my testimony, and that of others, will not help prevent another war like this. Did the testimony of the survivors of World War II prevent Bosnia?
