ABSTRACT
The renewable energy FiT mechanism has emerged as the most effective, affordable and flexible means to introduce renewable power quickly. Nations, regions and even large cities can use its principles with confidence to deploy any technology or technologies they wish to in their jurisdiction, in order to more effectively harvest the renewable resources therein. Caps and time limits on the programme can be set to achieve certain goals on deployment and overall programme cost, but leaving this open will allow more stable and vigorous investment and job creation to occur.
