ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on the techniques used to manage non-point sources of pollution associated with irrigation in Australia. In the interests of brevity, we ignore the many opportunities to reduce non-point sources of pollution by, for example, charging for the full cost of providing water, unbundling water rights and allowing irrigators to trade water entitlements and water allocations.
