Energy is the lifeblood of the world. Energy travels through the veins of wires, pipelines, roads and sea routes, providing light, heat, food, water and power to most of the globe. Motor vehicles, vessels and planes, powered almost entirely from fossil fuels, under-gird the global economy and provide unprecedented mobility.
