ABSTRACT

The National Development Plan (NDP) is a programming document prepared by the Ministry of Economy with the aim of improving and strengthening the international competitiveness of the national economy. In addition, it is intended to support continued and balanced economic and social development, in accordance with the principles of sustainability. Once Poland becomes a member of the EU, it will apply for EU structural funds support to implement the plan. Such support requires co-financing from national funds (state, local or private). So the NDP will significantly influence the way in which public money will be spent in the years covered by the Plan, and the type and scale of the developments that will be undertaken.
