ABSTRACT
The present chapter is divided into four sections. In the first, I present an analysis of chidren's intellectual development. In the second, I suggest a method of instruction that derives from this analysis. In the third, I present an illustration of how this method can be applied to the teaching of conventional classroom content. In the fourth, I suggest a number of conditions that must be met if children's response to this method is to be optimized.
