ABSTRACT
One of the recurrent themes of debate within the Global Ecological Integrity Group (GEIG) has been the correct balance between ‘rights’ and ‘responsibilities’. This debate was a particular feature of meetings held in 2004, 2005 and 2007, reflecting an interesting range of papers on law, ethics and the interface between them.
