examines reading acquisition and reading difficulties in Spanish
studies the above in the context of bilingual Spanish English language learners
explores the structure of spoken and written Spanish and how it can influence the way that children acquire basic reading skills in Spanish
investigates the first language factors that influence literacy outcomes when Spanish-speaking children learn to read in English
discusses the most effective ways to teach literacy skills to Spanish English-language learners.
