ABSTRACT

An inclusive work culture for wounded warriors ensures that veterans are treated with dignity and respect while recognizing their individual differences. An inclusive work culture also moves beyond the built environment to ensure that wounded warriors have equal opportunities to develop their full potential in the workplace. However, such an environment has to be cultivated and shaped, starting with attitudes of the wider community in which both wounded warriors and potential employers are embedded. A positive attitude that focuses on the valuable contribution wounded warriors can make facilitates an inclusive culture much more than a focus on their limitations.
