ABSTRACT
Randomised controlled trials (RCTs) have been used in many different fields of research: the aim of this chapter is to look at their use specifically within a forensic context. It follows that some of the arguments rehearsed below are context-bound and should not be generalised outwith the boundaries of forensic research.
