ABSTRACT
I have followed an unusual career path, with most of my positions being non-academic. However, I begin my professional career, even at the undergraduate level, with an interest in social cognitive development, and that interest has remained with me, although it has assumed many faces. Hence, despite having many different types of jobs at varied organizations, there has been considerable consistency in my academic interests. The interest in adolescence entered later; my initial work was on infancy.
