ABSTRACT
Let me ask a question this time. If I asked, ‘What would be your key aim in working with the children in your care?’, I’m pretty sure the answer would be something to do with keeping them happy and eager to learn. And if I asked, ‘But how would you get your children to respond in this kind of way?’, you would probably say, ‘I would try to make sure each child had a positive self-esteem.’ And I’m sure you would be right.
