ABSTRACT
The 1920s saw the foundation of a school for the benefit of the Beta Israel who had been coming to Addis Ababa for various personal or legal reasons. For those who made the trip, it afforded them the opportunity to make contact with the school's officials, notably Dr. Jacques Faitlovitch and Professor (Aleqa) Taamrat Emanuel.
