ABSTRACT
A catalogue of ‘frameworks’ so-called in print and popular usage would overflow the boundaries of this chapter. It is, therefore, proposed to offer a stipulative definition that holds for most of the ‘frameworks’ used in schools or cited in scholarly papers and research reports.
