ABSTRACT
The Creative Career Constellation is an activity that helps provide tangible links between educational and career resources when developing career goals. It is designed to demonstrate the linkage between interests, hobbies, and pursuits that clients may have along with the training and choices involved with turning interests into careers. This activity has been adapted from a worksheet used within the school system of Trinidad and Tobago to help students understand course sequences they are expected to take during their school matriculation (Trinidad and Tobago Schools, 2006). It is expected that, upon completion of the activity, clients (and possibly their parents) will be able to:
Identify interests, values, and tasks that can be harnessed into a possible career
Identify educational coursework and guidelines that should be followed in order to work toward career goals
Make salient connections between coursework, personal interests, and career goals
