ABSTRACT
The objective of the Family Description activity is to provide children of alcoholics (COA) and adult children of alcoholics (ACOA) an opportunity to become better acquainted with each other through sharing family experiences. Also, this activity encourages the use of empathic listening, which can decrease feelings of isolation among group members and increase group cohesiveness.
