ABSTRACT
Research on the agenda setting power of the Portuguese parliament and on whether there is an executive dominance in the control over the parliamentary agenda is still in its early stages. Existing knowledge regarding the instruments of agenda control available to the executive or to the parliament is deficient in different ways.
