ABSTRACT
Tricia hails from a family of pioneers. Born in 1944 on a midwestern farm in Champaign, Illinois, she is the 12th generation of colonial Americans arriving from England and Holland. Her peripatetic family kept relocating westward, eventually moving from Pennsylvania and Indiana to be among the fi rst families to settle in Illinois.
