ABSTRACT
This chapter explores the dilemmas in practice experienced by occupational therapists within the context of Scottish mental health services. The dilemmas for occupational therapists in Scotland are, however, not considered to be significantly different from those of their colleagues in other parts of the United Kingdom and beyond. However, most of the practice examples provided are framed by the Scottish mental health legislation and relate to people resident in Scotland served by the devolved Scottish Government.
