ABSTRACT

This concluding chapter presents further industry outlook on collaborative working based on the general perception of practitioners on the effects of the lack of proper planning and management of collaboration in projects. This was then followed by an evaluation exercise in which experienced construction industry personnel provided feedback on the benefits that the Planning and Implementation of Effective Collaboration in Construction (PIECC) framework, introduced and described in Chapter 3, can bring to current practice. Finally some overall conclusions drawn from the material presented in this book are presented.
