ABSTRACT
Creativity is very important for children and their development. Consider the creativity of preschoolers, as expressed in their spontaneous comments, songs, play, drawings, and dance. Gradually, the school-aged child’s creativity is expressed in more deliberate activities that may lead to works of art or novel solutions to hassles and problems. Researchers are making great strides in formulating age-appropriate assessments of childhood creativity and understanding its development.
