ABSTRACT
PURPOSE The description, reflection, speculation (DRS) chart is part of a set of tools that I find useful in introducing a solution-focused approach. The chart sometimes seems more useful in cases where people are first more familiar with other approaches. A thumbnail sketch of similarities and differences among approaches, the chart helps people to locate solutionfocused practice within their broader understanding.
