ABSTRACT
In 2001, Cathy, then a third-grade teacher at Westbury (a pseudonym) school, contacted a nearby University in hopes of lining up a research partner to help with the preparation of a grant proposal. Arlene responded, and our collaborative activities have continued ever since.
