ABSTRACT
This paper reviews articles published from 1980 to 1992 in order to summarize research findings, point out problems and suggest future directions of family research in Korea. The six professional journals chosen for these purposes are: Korean Journal of Sociology, Korean Journal of Home Economics, Korean Journal of Child Studies, Journal of Korean Home Management, Journal of the Korean Family Studies, and Journal of the Korean Gerontological Society.
