Carlo Caballero received his PhD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996 with a wide-ranging dissertation on Faure and French musical aesthetics. He has published articles in Victorian Studies and 19th Century Music and has an essay on Saint-Saens in the collection Music and the Visual Arts (forthcoming, Garland). He holds the position of research associate at the College of Music and the Graduate School of the University of Colorado (Boulder), where he continues research on Faure as well as pursuing new projects on Dukas and Mallarme.
