Both educators and youth thrive when teachers express authentic caring with hope about what happens in their schooling lives and everyday affairs. Jeff Anderson, author and professional learning guru, reveals in the conversation his own writing process and life commitment to literature, teachers, and readers across the country. Anderson writes nonfiction for teachers and humorous fiction for middle-graders. The conversation began in early fall 2015 via telephone and e-correspondences and was completed during the National Council of Teachers of English 105th annual convention, which was held in November 2015 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
