ABSTRACT

In recent years, there has been considerable interest in the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) community in the development of unstructured mesh methods for fluid flow problems. Unstructured meshes greatly reduce mesh generation time for complex industrial geometries, frequently by an order of magnitude, and allow advances such as dynamic mesh adaption. Aided by the exponential increase in computational speed, unstructured mesh methods are beginning to establish CFD as an integral part of the industrial design cycle.
