ABSTRACT
This concluding chapter provides an initial framework for future inquiry into quality peace. The breadth and width of this volume provides a wide lens through which quality peace can be evaluated. However, there are still some yet-unexplored issues that future research could take on, namely security equality and the impact of memory. Also for future consideration is the temporal sequence and interlinkages of the five dimensions of quality peace identified in this volume. Future research must also explore a long-term perspective, as the findings within this volume point to a timeframe longer than 10 years through which the impact of the five dimensions shape the quality peace experienced following the signing of a peace agreement. This volume’s final chapter identifies these—and other—concepts that future research into quality peace must grapple with to better understand it fully.
