ABSTRACT

The coal resources are still one of the most important energy sources in China, but the exploitation of coal mine makes damage to the land resources and the ecological environment. In the context of China’s shortage of land resources and degradation of environment, the study of land reclamation and vegetation restoration has important practical significance. This paper takes Shaanxi province Tongchuan Huaxin coal mine as an example and uses the basic theory of land reclamation, through the analysis of the main ecological problems on the land reclamation and vegetation restoration, terraced reclamation, scheme of groundwater balance and biological engineering design for reconstruction of mining land reclamation and vegetation restoration are rebuild in detail, which restore useful land and improve the ecological environment in mining and finally can realize the mine ecological environment protection, land resource utilization and sustainable development of local economy.
