ABSTRACT

Gymnastics for men includes six events, with four for women. Each event has various and sometimes extremely different task demands. Knowing what are the task-demands for each apparatus: each apparatus has different task-demands. Understand the evolution of the various points of view and methodologies of researchers in gymnastics since 1985. In 1985, B. S. Bloom interviewed the best scientists, musicians and athletes in the United States. He found that they followed very similar career paths. The implications of fixed abilities for learning and performing in gymnastics are great. Bloom wrote an influential book entitled Developing Talent in Young People, in which they interviewed 120 world experts in science, the arts and sport, as well as their parents and teachers/coaches. In 1993, K. A. Ericsson and his collaborators used a quantitative approach to understand how musicians evolved from novices to experts using a quantitative approach.
