ABSTRACT

In the preceding chapters, the importance of appropriate strategy and practices for assessing project quality and excellence has been further supported by field research. The results of the research have also identified and verified some specific strengths and weaknesses of current practices related to quality and excellence in major projects. There is little argument that the management of all major projects needs further improvement, and therefore the recommendations arising from the findings and conclusions of this study should add value to the knowledge and business of project quality management.
